Shakila is the Secretary of CBASS and has been interested in climate change advocacy, corporate sustainability and how businesses can change the way in which we plan the future of our planet. She is the founder of Sense & Sustainability, a management consultancy that aims to help businesses strategize their Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) way forward and walk the talk.
She is a Chevening Scholar 2015/2016 and has previously worked as Head of Sustainability and was instrumental in winning the firm the Best SME at the Sustainable Business Awards in 2018. She is currently a senior consultant at Arup Advisory.
Shakila loves working within the circular economy and ESG ecosystem and is always interested to learn how small steps can eventually lead to change and hope in the climate crisis. She is also a writer and loves anything and everything to do with the Korean wave, travel and fashion.
